JUDEDATA-STF compiles systematic information on all judicial cases made available on the Brazilian Supreme Court’s (STF) website through December 31, 2023. Developed by the JUDE – Judiciary and Democracy Research Group, JUDEDATA-STF offers organized access to essential data for researchers, students, and others interested in understanding how Brazil’s constitutional court operates.

The database is structured around three complementary datasets: Ações (general case information), Partes (litigant data), and Andamentos (procedural records). This structure enables analyses ranging from the profile of cases filed to the temporal dynamics of the Court’s decisions. Data are provided in .csv format and correspond to the raw information publicly released by the Court, with no additional processing, thus preserving integrity for research purposes and replicability.
